jamie foxx voices first black lead in pixars soul film
The multi-talented Jamie Foxx, best known for his oscar winning portrayal of Ray Charles stars in new Pixar film about an aspiring Jazz musician who works as a New York school teacher. Just as he gets his big break, he has an accident and his soul leaves his body. Before he is completely dead, he must find a way to get back to his body in time for his gig. Foxx is quoted as saying he is proud to be cast as Pixar’s first black lead. The film is available to stream from December on Disney Plus.
