Fresh Prince Will Smiths Bel-Air debuts on Peacock
Bel-Air is a dramatic re-telling of the ’90’s sit-com starring Will Smith, which was based on Morgan Cooper’s viral 2019 mock trailer. The production from Will Smith’s Westbrook Studios with Universal television is airing on Peacock from February. The premise is the same as the original with Will having to move to Bel-air after getting into trouble in West Philadelphia. The difference this time is that Will is now a promising basketball star and is a fish-out-of-water in his new surroundings. This new series is grittier than the original and includes a real threat back in Philly from his wager with a drug dealer gone bad who is out for revenge.
